Seven Tips to Consider Before Beginning the Matol Diet
A Personal Message from

Weight-loss and weight related issues have become such an epidemic that the North American market is flooded with '"diet solutions." For the consumer it is hard to know which one to choose. "Don't they all work to some extent?" The answer is no. Weight loss is more then just shedding pounds temporarily, quick fixes and magic pills. It's not just about how you look in your jeans but how healthy you are on the inside.

The Matol Diet program is designed to correct the root of the problem internally. It is by no means a quick fix, though you will see results the first week. The average weight loss is 3-7 lbs per week and by the end of our 4-stage program, it's a new you, inside and out.

Because the Matol Diet program is not a quick fix, anyone considering starting must be committed. Distributors and Coaches who are sharing the diet must also give the program the respect it deserves and must understand that putting someone on the program is a commitment as well.

Here are some tips that I believe are an important part of being successful on the Matol Diet.

1. Understand the Matol Diet program in its entirety.
This means that you should know by what mechanism you lose weight on the diet. We only accept what we understand. Not understanding will put the Matol Diet in the same category as all of the others. And we are not like all of the others. You'll understand that cheating (even if you still see weight loss) will hurt your overall progress. You can't cheat physiology. The pancreas needs its rest and cheating, by the way, sets you back three days, wasting your time and money.

2. Be prepared!
Make sure that you have the right groceries in the house. Good vegetables, salads, a dressing that you love but that is legal and all the right meats. And if you have to (just in the beginning), get rid of all of the things that will tempt you as they will only make it harder for you to stay on track.

3. Plan your meals each week.
I know how impossible this may seem to just about everyone with a hectic schedule. Things come up and plans change. For those same reasons, if you have planned what you should be eating that night, if you're running late and have to make something quick, the choice between grabbing something you shouldn't eat and having something already waiting for you will be easier. Even if you have to go out, there is always something you can eat off almost any menu. It might not be the food you would have chosen before you got on the program, but you'll still be able to join the social gathering.

4. Have a support system in place.
Ideally your Sponsor (or somewhere in your upline) should be a Certified Matol Diet Consultant and your Coach. You need to have someone that will follow and encourage you and make you accountable. If you do not have a Coach, adjust your schedule to join the Thursday night Matol Diet Support Call. You must be accountable to someone.

5. Fill out your "Daily Meal Planner" form or "My Daily Journal" each and every week.
You can print the "Daily Meal Planner" form off our website or use the one you receive when you order the VibrantU Pack. There are many reasons why you must keep track of what you are consuming in a week; it helps us track a lot of things while you are on the diet. For example, if one week you have not lost weight and "swear" it is not from cheating, the only way your coach, or upline or anyone can figure out what's wrong is by looking at what you ate during the week. Sometimes we can identify a "hidden" cheat that you thought was okay. And of course, it keeps you on track with your supplements, salt, water and food consumption. It's easy to forget otherwise.

6. Place your first order wisely.
First, be prepared to buy the VibrantU Pack. It is the most cost efficient way to purchase the Matol Diet. You receive an extra $10.00 off the pack and you get a free bottle of MatolĀ®/KmĀ®. When you invest that kind of money up front, you won't want to waste it.
Also, you'll have all your supplements which are not optional. They are included in the program because during the diet we don't eat dairy, whole grains or fruits. If you do not supplement, you can get sick. Not to mention, the supplements will help keep you energized and keep your healthy bowel movements flowing.
With the food packets themselves, since you do not know which ones will be your favorite, stick with foods that you already like. Save the experimenting for later. For example, I like to chew. So even though the Peach Mango and Cocoa Drink are Matol's top sellers, I knew they wouldn't work for me. I chose things I already liked (flavor wise) and varieties that I already liked. I love butterscotch therefore I chose the pudding. I can't stand yogurt, so even if the Yogurt and Fieldberry Drink is delicious, and that's the feedback we get, I didn't choose it.
Even with being careful with your food choices, you still may get a box of food and not love the taste. Maybe our Cappuccino Drink doesn't taste like "Starbucks" but don't discount it right away. It will take your taste buds a while to get used to eating foods that are good for your body. Remember that the packets do not contain a magic formula that make you shrink. They are not appetite suppressants, they do, however, contain 9 essential amino acids and up to 20 grams of protein isolates. That's pretty good.

7. Be ready mentally.
Make sure you are clear on why you are starting the Matol Diet. Have you been feeling depressed about your weight, is it slowing you down, are you developing other health related issues? Whatever your reason, be clear in your own mind. Don't feel pressured into it by anyone else but yourself. If you are not mentally ready, you won't succeed because you won't want to follow the program and make the necessary changes.
